10 Feb: Sustainable Living Festival Wardrobe Crisis

Can the global fashion industry adopt sustainable practices at a meaningful rate in the wake of our current climate crisis?

Sustainability is a big buzzword in the business of fashion right now. But what does that really mean for a $2.4 trillion global industry that is often deemed to be one of the most wasteful and polluting on the planet?

Interviewing a group of Australian change-makers, Wardrobe Crisis author Clare Press leads a dynamic panel discussion on circularity, innovation and responsibility in the fashion industry.

Bringing together experts in the fields of water stewardship and ethical clothing, the discussion will explore current challenges facing the fashion industry as it shifts towards greater sustainable practices across the entire supply chain. Panel guests include Michael Spencer, Chair & CEO of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (Asia-Pacific region), and Courtney Saunders, Co-founder of the values-driven e-store, Well Made Clothes.
