Water in the Supply Fashion Chain, Join us for a Special Event
Water represents one of the most significant challenges for the fashion industry. AWS Asia-Pacific and the Council of Textile and Fashion have been collaborating in an innovative program, supported by the Australian Government, to promote good water stewardship through the fashion supply chain. At the same time, AWS is collaborating with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) to align water management requirements between the two systems and promote good water stewardship in cotton production. This seminar will bring these partners together to discuss progress and share knowledge and experience. The partners will be joined by international experts to discuss challenges facing the industry.
The model being developed through this collaboration will be expanded to other industries including food and beverage and micro-electronics over the coming year.
