Upcoming AWS Water Stewardship Trainings in Brisbane

AWS Asia-Pacific will be running Foundation, Advanced and Specialist trainings in the AWS International Standard in Brisbane on the 13-15 June. These 1-3 day trainings are open to all participants working in or with an interest in water management and governance.

Whether you are a major water user, a regulatory body, a natural resource manager or a civil society group – AWS training can give you what you need, to advocate for and implement responsible water stewardship.

TRAINING DETAILS

Day 1 – Foundation

An introductory program for anyone interested in understanding the AWS water stewardship system: how it can be used by sites to manage water-risks and create business opportunities, and how it can help policy makers and environmental groups to achieve water resource management goals.

Day 2 – Advanced

Dives deeper into the AWS International Water Stewardship Standard: how criteria and indicators are applied using case studies from sites using the AWS Standard.

Day 3 – Specialist

Will develop and test skills required to offer AWS accredited third-party services (trainers, consultants and auditors). Service providers seeking AWS accreditation must complete the Foundation and Advanced programs before they can progress to the Specialist program.
